A sensational case has come to light from Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman, fed up with the continuous harassment and obscene acts of her live-in partner, murdered him. Police have arrested a woman named Neha (name changed) in this case.
On April 29, at around 8.30 am, there was a stir when the dead body of a 26-year-old youth was found in the forest of Julahapur village under Nagina Dehat police station. The deceased was identified as Anuj, a resident of the same village. There was a deep bullet mark on Anuj’s head. The police arrived on the information of the villagers, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem and started a thorough investigation of the case.
During investigation, Anuj’s mother told the police that for the last two years, a woman named Neha was living in a live-in relationship with Anuj along with her daughter. He informed that on the evening of 28th April, Anuj and Neha had gone somewhere on a bike. Neha returned home at night, but Anuj did not return. The next morning his dead body was found in the forest about one and a half kilometers away from the village. On the basis of this statement, the police took Shobha into custody and started interrogation.
Horrible story of torture
During police interrogation, Neha confessed her crime and narrated a painful story. Neha told that she was married to Satendra in the year 2011, with whom she has a daughter. Due to mutual differences, she separated from her husband in 2024 and started living in Najibabad, where she met Anuj. Soon both of them started living in a live-in relationship, but Anuj’s behavior gradually became violent and immoral.
Neha alleges that Anuj used to forcibly have sex in front of her 10 year old daughter and also used to do obscene acts with the daughter. The limit reached when Anuj even tried to rape Neha’s younger sister, due to which he even went to jail. Apart from this, Anuj had made obscene videos of Neha and forced her to have sex with his friends.
Murder plot and arrest
Fed up with these actions, Neha decided to remove Anuj from the way. On the evening of April 28, both of them went to the market, where they drank alcohol and ate food. At the time of return, when Anuj was drunk, Neha cleverly took out the 315 bore pistol from his waist. Neha stopped the bike near the forest on the pretext of toilet and shot Anuj with a pistol on his temple. After the incident she returned home quietly.
Bijnor SP Rural Prakash Kumar said that the 315 bore pistol and casing used in the murder have been recovered from Neha. Neha told the police that she wanted to commit suicide by killing Anuj, but due to concern about her daughter’s future, she did not take this step.
