Vishnudev Sai visited Chandagarh village of Jashpur district under Good Governance Tihar and listened to the problems of the villagers by setting up a Jan Chaupal under the banyan tree. He said that the objective of this campaign is to take the government to the doorstep of the people, so that the problems can be solved on the spot.
Raipur 3 May 2026/ In Good Governance Tihar, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai reached the remote forest village Chandagarh of Jashpur district and presented an impressive glimpse of sensitive and people-centric governance. As soon as the Chief Minister’s helicopter landed in Chandagarh, the villagers welcomed him grandly with enthusiasm and affection.
The Chief Minister directly reached village Bhainsamuda of Pathalgaon development block, where he offered prayers at the Bajrang Bali temple and wished for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the state. After this, Jan Chaupal was decorated in the cool shade of the huge banyan tree in the middle of the village.

- Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Good Governance Tihar is being organized from May 1 to June 10 and its objective is to take the government to the doorstep of the people, so that the problems can be solved on the spot. The Chief Minister said that today he has come to listen to the problems of the people and time bound solution to the problems of the villagers will be ensured. He took information from the villagers about various basic facilities including availability of ration, salt, sugar, drinking water system, electricity, problems related to Patwari and instructed the officials for quick solutions.
- During Jan Chaupal, Chief Minister Shri Sai had a cordial conversation with “Lakhpati Didi” Mrs. Sumila Korwa and Mrs. Pushpalata Chauhan and appreciated their work. He learned that women of women self-help groups are becoming self-reliant through works like brick manufacturing, grocery shops and BC Sakhi.
Till now 8 lakh lakhpati didis have been created in the state.
- The Chief Minister said that so far 8 lakh Lakhpati Didis have been created in the state, while under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, this number has increased to more than 3 crore in the country, which is a big change in the direction of women empowerment.
- Chief Minister Shri Sai made many important announcements for the development of village Chandagarh and Bhainsamuda and announced construction of community building, construction of mini stadium, construction of CC road and providing cricket kits and uniforms for children. He also instructed the officials to select a suitable site for the community building. During this, Chief Minister Shri Sai also took stock of the ground situation of implementation of various public welfare schemes. Kalavati Chauhan told that all the eligible beneficiaries are getting the benefits of Mahtari Vandan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the village, on which the Chief Minister expressed satisfaction.
- Chief Minister Shri Sai inquired about the status of tendu leaf collection work and also discussed about the benefits of Charan Paduka Scheme. He said that the common people are being connected religiously and socially in the state through Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Teerth Darshan Yojana. Along with this, he said that through the Atal Digital Suvidha Kendras established in Gram Panchayats, now various services including income, caste, residence certificate are being available at one place and the villagers are also getting the benefit of online banking and other facilities.
- The Chief Minister seriously listened to the demands and problems of the villagers during Jan Choupal and gave clear instructions to the officials to ensure that all the problems are resolved on priority. He said that the real meaning of good governance is that the schemes of governance reach the last person and people get their benefits on time.
- On this occasion, MLA Pathalgaon Mrs. Gomti Sai, Principal Secretary Mr. Subodh Kumar Singh, Public Relations Commissioner Mr. Rajat Bansal, Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh and a large number of villagers were present.
