Yogi Adityanath has claimed that in the last 9 years in Uttar Pradesh, more than 9 lakh youth have been given government jobs in a transparent manner, which is a record. He said that before the year 2017, the recruitment processes were affected by corruption and discrimination, but now the process has been made fair by implementing strict laws.
Lucknow, 3 May. “More than 9 lakh youth have been given government jobs in the last nine years in Uttar Pradesh. This is a record for completing the highest number of appointments in any state in a safe and transparent manner. Only the Subordinate Selection Commission will complete the process of more than 32 thousand appointments this year. The Education Selection Commission will complete the recruitment process of thousands of teachers. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has to make about 15 thousand recruitments. Thus, in the current financial year (2026-27), more than 1.5 lakh The process of more government recruitments has to be completed. To ensure that there is no breach in the process, a strict law has also been made, under which those who commit burglary are given life imprisonment and their entire property is confiscated.
UP became better than ‘Bimaru’!
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said this in the program of distribution of appointment letters to 357 newly selected junior analysts (drugs) for the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department and 252 newly selected dental hygienists of the Medical and Health Department by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission at Lok Bhawan on Sunday. Before his address, the Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to the newly selected candidates. Shattering of the dreams of the youth is betrayal of the future of the coming generations. The Chief Minister said that every parent wishes that their child gets good education and moves towards a safe and better future. For this, they make every possible effort, but when the expected results are not achieved, not only the dreams of that youth are shattered, but the hopes of his parents and other people associated with the family are also shattered. The shattering of a youth’s dreams is not just an injustice to an individual, but it is a betrayal of the future of future generations. Discrimination, dishonesty and corruption in the selection processes played a role in Uttar Pradesh being branded as a ‘sick state’. Irregularities in the recruitment processes were so rampant that the Court had to intervene repeatedly.
People with fake degrees used to lead the selection process
The Chief Minister said that before the year 2017, there used to be court stay on almost every appointment process and strict comments were received from the court. The situation was such that even a person who was not eligible became the chairman of the commission. Even people with fake degrees were leading the selection process. Due to money transactions, recruitments were affected and deserving candidates were not able to get opportunities. At present, many youth are unaware of that period, because they were minors then. After the year 2017, recruitment processes have been made transparent and fair. The result is that till now more than 2,20,000 recruitments have been successfully done in the police department. In the last 9 years, we have recruited a record of more than 9 lakh youth in a fair and transparent manner.
A grade lab present at divisional level
The CM said that letter distribution programs will be organized by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission on May 4 and 6. This will go on continuously. The government has been successful in tripling the per capita income of the state in the last nine years without any discrimination, despite the Corona epidemic. Today the country’s best infrastructure, expressways, highways etc. are present in the state. Today those departments are doing good work, which people did not even know about earlier. There are medical colleges in almost every district, two AIIMS are functioning. Before 2017, everything depended on God, results also came in the same manner. During that time the entire system was sick. The Food Safety and Drug Administration Department did not have equipment and labs to check the quality of medicines and food adulteration. Now the department has A-grade labs at the divisional level for testing. There is trained manpower, which will give the results of the investigation within the time limit. Before the year 2017 there were five laboratories, today there are 18 laboratories with modern equipment.
Recruitment of junior analysts (food) also soon
The CM said that earlier 12,000 samples were taken every year in 5 laboratories. Now their number has increased to 55,000. Today, the recruitment process of 357 junior analysts (pharmaceuticals) has been completed, with which their number has increased from 44 to 401. At present the number of Junior Analysts (Food) is only 58. We have sent requisition for 417 posts, which is under consideration in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. The recruitment process will be completed soon. At present 36 thousand food samples are taken every year. With the completion of the recruitment process, their number will increase to more than 1,08,000 every year. Today, appointment letters have also been distributed to 252 dental hygienists.
Stopping dishonest politicians and corrupt bureaucrats
CM said that today a better security environment has been created in the state, it has become a riot-free and hooligan-free state, which will bring good investments. Recently, letters have been issued to 17 investors in the pharma sector, who will do production and manufacturing within the state. Before the year 2017, the chairman of the recruitment board used to sit aside and the uncle-nephew duo used to set out for recovery. If we want to stop dishonest politicians and corrupt bureaucrats, we will have to start with ourselves.
On this occasion, Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak, AYUSH Minister and Minister of State for Food Safety and Drug Administration Daya Shankar Mishra Dayalu, Minister of State for Medical Education and Health Department Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Medical Education and Health Amit Ghosh, Principal Secretary Appointment and Personnel Department M Devraj, Secretary and Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Administration Department Roshan Jacob etc. were present.
