Occupancy figures suggest that audience interest steadily increased as the day progressed. Morning shows recorded around 28.44 percent occupancy, which jumped to 54 percent in the afternoon. Evening shows remained strong at 53.44 percent, while night screenings saw a slightly lower but steady 47.78 percent turnout.
Despite the buzz around the sequel, the film faced stiff competition at the Indian box office. The historical drama Raja Shivaji, starring Riteish Deshmukh, dominated opening day collections with Rs 11.35 crore. The clash created a competitive theatrical landscape, particularly across metropolitan markets.
