In May 2024, she left school and started working as an assistant teacher at HMP Erlestoke prison in Wiltshire. It is alleged that while teaching the prisoners, she got attracted towards 38-year-old prisoner Ashley Goodridge. First a normal conversation started between the two. Soon they fell in love.
Relationships made in the jail study room
According to the report, both of them kissed several times and also had sexual relations. During this time, both of them also sent I love you messages and photos to each other. The interesting thing is that Duffy told the jail librarian about this relationship. He also had sexual relations with another prisoner. Both the women talked openly about their love experiences and laughed openly like new age girls.
Despite being in a physical relationship with an inmate, Duffy did not jeopardize prison security and never tried to bring or take any contraband into the prison. His secret of all this was finally revealed and the court sentenced him to one year imprisonment.
