The victim claims that the alleged objectionable activities of her husband came to light in the recording of the hidden camera. Mainpuri Illicit Affair News: A case reported from Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh has become a topic of discussion in the area. A woman has made serious allegations against her husband and appealed to the police for justice. The victim claims that her husband’s behavior was constantly suspicious after marriage. When his suspicion deepened, he got a hidden camera installed in his rented flat, and the recording that surfaced shocked him. The woman alleges that her husband allegedly used to call some youths to the flat and used to indulge in objectionable activities with them. At present the matter is under police investigation and after the intervention of the authorities the investigation process has been started.
Harassment started some time after marriage
According to the victim Sonali (name changed), she was married to Shivam Gupta, a resident of Etah, on 19 February 2024. Shivam is working in a private company and his monthly income is said to be around Rs 2.5 lakh. The woman alleges that the family spent more than their capacity on the marriage and also gave donations and dowry, but despite this, after some time, the in-laws started demanding Rs 50 lakh in cash. When his demands were not met, he was mentally and physically tortured.

Suspicion over husband’s activities
The victim says that her husband’s behavior was becoming increasingly abnormal. Often he used to spend time alone in a rented flat in Agra and many unknown youths were seen coming and going there. For this reason the woman became suspicious of her husband. To know the truth, he secretly installed cameras in the flat. The woman claims that after watching the recording, she came to know about her husband’s alleged activities, seeing which she was completely broken.
Allegation of threat for protesting
The woman alleges that when she questioned her husband about this and asked to inform the family, she was threatened to remain silent. According to the victim, the husband tried to put pressure on her by threatening to kill her. After this the woman tried to contact the police and lodge a complaint.
Police also accused of negligence
The victim says that initially the Sadar Kotwali police did not take her complaint seriously and refused to register the report. Later he met senior officials of the district and informed them about the entire matter. After the intervention of higher officials, investigation into the matter has now been started. Police say that based on the complaint all aspects are being investigated and further action will be taken as per the facts.
Demand for security, appeal for fair investigation
The woman has also expressed concern about her own safety. He has demanded from the administration that the matter should be investigated impartially and strict action should be taken against the culprits. At present, police investigation is going on and electronic evidence related to the case is also being examined. The real situation of the entire matter will be clear only after the investigation is completed.
