The relationship between father-in-law and daughter-in-law has become shameful in Ajmer district of Rajasthan. A mentally weak married woman was allegedly raped by her father-in-law for a long time. It is alleged that the accused did not even allow his son to go to his wife’s room.
On top of that he is beaten. The victim’s brother told the police in his complaint that his father-in-law kept raping him every day, due to which she became pregnant and then gave birth to a daughter. Police have registered a case on the complaint.
The victim got married in 2018
According to the police, the victim’s brother gave a report at the police station, in which he alleged that his sister was married in the year 2018. She has studied only till 8th standard. After marriage, her mental and physical condition continued to deteriorate. The family initially felt that her condition was worsening due to domestic abuse, but recently revealed facts gave a new twist to the whole matter.
The victim’s brother told that whenever his sister came home after marriage, her father-in-law would bring her. My sister was often scared. Gradually his condition became worse. The brother said that when his sister gave birth to a daughter, he went to his in-laws’ house and there his father-in-law told him that his sister does not work, that is why he scolds her. She doesn’t listen to anything I say. After which my sister went to the corner and started crying badly and when I went near her, she started holding her feet and asking me to take her away from here.
Saw father-in-law in objectionable condition – Neighbor
After this the brother brought the victim sister to his home. The brother told that he got his sister treated as per his capacity. A few days ago, when she again asked her sister to go back to her in-laws house, she refused and started crying loudly. When the neighbors around her in-laws’ house were interrogated, it came to light that the married woman was raped by her father-in-law, taking advantage of her mental condition. People nearby told the victim’s brother that 1-2 times they saw her father-in-law in an objectionable state with her sister and went to their house and explained to them that he was doing wrong with the girl.
According to police station in-charge Narpat Ram, when the brother asked the sister about this after being told by the neighbors and neighbors, she told a shocking thing. The victim’s father-in-law used to rape her every day and did not allow her husband to enter the room. On top of that, he also used to beat the married woman’s husband. It has also been claimed in the complaint that the birth of the victim’s daughter is also the result of this alleged rape. Confirmation of these allegations is still a matter of investigation.
The report was submitted on behalf of the victim at Kishangarh police station through advocates Aastha Berwa and Naveen Berwa. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code. The matter is being investigated by the police officer himself. Police station in-charge Narpat Ram says that a case has been registered and all the facts are being seriously investigated. The victim’s statement, medical and scientific evidence and other necessary evidence are being collected. After completion of the investigation, further legal action will be taken as per the rules based on whatever facts come to light.
