Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026: Commonwealth Games 2026 is about to begin. The competition for medals will be seen in Glasgow from 23rd July. Indian players will be expected to win up to 38 medals in just 5 sports events at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026. Those 5 sports events include athletics, boxing, weightlifting, judo and para sports.

India had won 8 medals in athletics in the last Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham. That hope is being reduced to 7 medals in Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026. This hope in boxing seems to have increased in Glasgow 2026 compared to Birmingham 2022. India is expected to win 11 medals in boxing. India can once again win 10 medals in weightlifting. Whereas in Judo, there can be an increase in the number of medals in Glasgow as compared to Birmingham. India is expected to win up to 5 medals in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026. Whereas in para sports, India has a chance of winning up to 6 medals in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2026.
