Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hoisted the religious flag at the Shiv temple of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya. During this, he gave a message to the society to remain united by emphasizing on Ram Mandir movement, Sanatan unity and cultural power of India.

Ayodhya. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday hoisted the religious flag amid chanting of Vedic mantras on the peak of the Shiva temple in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple complex in Ayodhya. During this, he also performed aarti after performing darshan and worship of Lord Shiva and Shri Ram Lalla.

During the program, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Lord Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Lord Shiva are the biggest forces to unite India. He said that Shri Ram connects North and South India, Shri Krishna connects East and West, while Lord Shiva binds the entire country together through the twelve Jyotirlingas.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia also used to say that as long as the power of Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Lord Shiva is with India, no one can harm the country. He said that people who do not have the power of understanding and culture will never be able to understand these things. The Chief Minister said that those who oppose Ram and Shiva will have no place in the society.

Where there is Ayodhya and Ram, victory is certain: CM Yogi

The Chief Minister said that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement has proved that where Ayodhya and Lord Ram are there, there is always victory. He said that even in difficult circumstances, Sanatan Samaj never stopped, nor bowed down nor retreated from its goal. Because of this unity and determination, the grand Ram temple could be built today. CM Yogi said that the new Ayodhya is now reminiscent of Tretayug and this is the result of the strength of the double engine government.

Sanatan Dharma Unity: Appeal not to divide great men on the basis of caste

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appealed to the people to strengthen the unity of Sanatan Dharma and avoid dividing great men on the basis of caste. He said that attempting to divide the society is a sin like treason. Those who divide the society are making the same mistake which weakened the unity of the country in the medieval period. CM said that when 140 crore Indians will move forward unitedly, then no power in the world will be able to stop India.

Ram Mandir Movement: Struggle lasted for 500 years

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi movement has been the biggest cultural and religious movement in the history of India. He said that every section of the society contributed to this movement for 500 years. Be it a poor village person, a forest dweller, a sage or a big industrialist, everyone had only one desire in their mind that a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram should be built in Ayodhya. He said that the disputed structure was built by damaging the temple in 1528, but even after that Sanatan Samaj never gave up its struggle.

Mentioned the contribution of RSS and Ashok Singhal

Chief Minister Yogi said that when Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh took the movement forward in 1983, the campaign reached new heights. He also mentioned the contributions of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Ashok Singhal. CM said that this movement united the entire country by breaking the walls of caste, language and region. He said that today wherever you go in the country, people welcome you with the slogan of “Jai Shri Ram”.

Supreme Court Ram Mandir Verdict: There was an atmosphere of peace in the country on the day of the verdict.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when the Supreme Court unanimously gave its verdict in favor of Ram Janmabhoomi, there was a wave of happiness among the followers of Sanatan Dharma in the country and the world. He said that some people were spreading fear that there would be unrest in the country after the verdict, but the day of the verdict was included in the most peaceful and happy days in the history of India.

Ram Mandir Construction: Journey from Bhoomi Pujan to Pran Pratistha

CM Yogi said that on August 5, 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of Ram temple and on January 22, 2024, Ram Lalla was consecrated. He said that at the time of consecration, there were tears of joy in the eyes of lakhs of devotees. People were emotional and expressing happiness in the temple premises. The Chief Minister said that on March 19, 2026, Shri Ram Yantra was also installed in the temple by the President.

Message to Sanatanis to remain united

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when Sanatan Samaj was divided, external forces took advantage of it. But today the society is united, hence safe and strong. He said that the coming generations will get the opportunity to tell that we have seen with our own eyes historical moments like Ram Mandir movement, Bhoomi Pujan, Pran Pratishtha and religious flag hoisting.

Saffron flag hoisted on Lord Shiva’s temple

The Chief Minister said that the saffron flag hoisted on the temple of Lord Shiva is a symbol of India’s pride and eternal culture. Referring to Rameshwaram, he said that Lord Shri Ram had worshiped Lord Shiva before conquering Lanka. Both Lord Shiva and Shri Ram are revered by each other and symbols of the spiritual power of India.

Many ministers and public representatives were present in the program

Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi, Mayor Girish Pati Tripathi, District Panchayat President Roli Singh, MLA Vedprakash Gupt, Ramchandra Yadav, Amit Singh Chauhan, Abhay Singh, Chandrabhanu Paswan and many public representatives were present in the flag hoisting ceremony. The program was conducted by Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
