Now in the investigation of this case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has also taken up the front and raided many states of the country simultaneously.
The action of ED is spread over states like Delhi, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Arunachal Pradesh. According to the investigating agency, this action is being taken against people and companies who created fake companies without real business and obtained tax refund from the government through fake documents. This entire game turned around on papers, but the amount was real – and that too of hundreds of crores.
The ED met Etanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. The zonal team here started the search operation from around 5 am and took several important documents and digital evidence. The investigating agency believes that it is not only a case of tax evasion, but these money has also been used in hawala and other illegal businesses.
The most shocking thing in this case was that those who fraudulently misused the name and identity of Seema Hyder and her husband Sachin. In fact, two chartered accountants of Darbhanga (Bihar) – Ashutosh Jha and Vipin Jha – are alleged to have created all the scam with a businessman from Arunachal Pradesh.
It is being told that both of them ‘Siddhivinayak trade merchant’ A fake company called a fake company was formed and its documents were placed in Seema and Sachin’s pictures and names. Through this fake company, fake input tax credit of more than 99 crore was claimed. As soon as the case was revealed, the local police registered an FIR and then the investigation reached the ED.
Now ED is investigating every aspect related to this scam. Soon the interrogation of the accused will start and it is believed that many big names can be revealed in this investigation. Seema Haider and Sachin are suffering in this case or were involved in some way, it is also an important part of the investigation.
At present, the ED action is going on and the agency has indicated that the scam could be larger than 650 crores. Many rock companies and hawala networks are said to be involved in it, whose wires are connected to different parts of the country.
