The examination of Home Guard Enrollment-2025 in Uttar Pradesh was successfully conducted amidst tight security and technical monitoring. Many frauds were detected through biometric verification and action was taken against the accused. Strict action was also taken against social media rumours.

Lucknow. The written examination of Home Guard Enrollment-2025 conducted by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board was successfully completed on 25, 26 and 27 April 2026. This examination was conducted in two shifts at 1053 centers in 74 districts of the state. Tight security arrangements were made during the entire event, due to which the examination could be conducted in a peaceful and well-organized environment.

Technologies like biometric verification, photo matching and digital surveillance were used during the examination to keep a close watch on cheating and fraud. In cases of forged documents, impersonation and unfair means, prompt action was taken and cases were registered against the concerned people.

The strictness of the administration was clearly visible in this examination. On April 27, Chhotalal and Vikram Singh, who created fake documents by tampering with the date of birth in the admit card, were arrested in Hapur and Fatehpur. While trying to impersonate during biometric checking in Aligarh and Hathras, Amit Kumar and Dharampal Singh were caught on the spot. On April 26, three people, including an assistant teacher, were arrested for hiding banned electronic devices in BNSD Inter College, Kanpur Nagar.

Apart from this, action was taken against Tejveer Singh, who made fake admit card in Etah, while in Bareilly, a candidate who tried to appear for the examination at two centers under different names was caught through biometric checking. It is clear from this that technical monitoring and administrative strictness remained completely effective in the entire examination process.

Exam Security UP: Strict action on social media rumors

Cases of paper leak and spreading of misleading news on social media during the examination were also taken seriously. A case has been registered in Lucknow under the IT Act and Indian Justice Code against unknown people spreading rumors through YouTube channel and Telegram group.

The administration gave priority to transparency and fairness in the entire event. Due to modern technology, stringent checking and strong security arrangements, the examination was conducted successfully without any major disruption.
