A case of suicide of a husband upset over his wife’s illicit relationship has come to light in Bulandshahr, UP, located less than 100 kilometers from Delhi. On receiving the complaint, the police have arrested the wife and her lover and are investigating further.
The whole matter is of village Dighi of Pahasu police station area of Bulandshahr district. The young man, Rishipal, used to work in cleaning sewer lines in a private company in Noida. He had gone to his in-laws’ house recently. Meanwhile, news came that Rishipal’s body was found hanging at his in-laws’ house in Dighi on Sunday (July 19, 2026) morning. It is alleged that Rishipal’s wife had an illicit relationship with Sonu, a resident of village Mutena police station, Dankaur district, Gautam Buddha Nagar. The wife had left Rishipal in a way and she was living in her maternal home with her three children for the last two years. Rishipal had come to know that she was having illicit relations with a young man named Sone. In such a situation, there used to be frequent fights between husband and wife regarding this matter.
On the other hand, after the uproar by Rishipal’s family, the police registered a case against the wife, her lover and mother-in-law on the complaint of brother Balkishan and later arrested him. At present the police investigation is going on and they are investigating keeping this aspect in mind. The police station in-charge said that on the complaint of Rishipal’s brother Balkishan, a case was registered against his wife, lover, mother-in-law and sister. Balkishan says that after being harassed by his brother Rishipal’s wife Preeti and lover Sonu, his brother committed suicide in his in-laws’ house.
