Sudden transfer or strategic move?
The Election Commission suddenly transferred Joint BDO Saurav Hazra, posted in Phalta, South 24 Parganas, and sent him to Purulia. Ramya Bhattacharya has been given the responsibility in his place. Officially it was described as a “routine transfer”, but the decision taken just hours before the elections is raising doubts in political circles. Additionally, two ADM officials were also removed from election duty, making the matter more serious.
