A Japanese woman living in Denmark shared a video on better work-life balance. It shows that people there finish work at 4 pm and enjoy life, which is contrary to the long working culture of many countries.
Do you work to live, or live to work? This question often comes to the mind of those people who are troubled by the long working culture of the office. Not only in our country, but there are many such companies in the world where people have heavy workload. But there are some places where work-life balance is given the most importance. Yuki, a Japanese woman living in Denmark, has shared one such experience on her Instagram.
Yuki has posted a video, which shows the scene of a typical working day i.e. Wednesday evening. It is seen in the video that the city streets are filled with people at 4.30 in the evening.
Yuki wrote in the caption of the video, ‘If I tell my Japanese friends that people in Denmark finish work at 4 pm, they will not believe it. So see for yourself. This is the scene at 4:35 pm on a Wednesday. Everyone is out, talking, laughing and enjoying life.
Yuki further tells that in the countries where she worked earlier, even at this time she was working sitting in the office. He believes that Danish people not only get a lot of time, but they also know how to make the best use of the time they get. People have commented a lot on this video of Yuki.
One user wrote, ‘This is called real work-life balance.’ Another user wrote jokingly, ‘When you leave our place at 4 o’clock, people ask – what happened, are you taking half-day?’ Many people also said that ‘for the people of Asia, this is like a dream.’
