As part of the strategy to link infrastructure with economic development in Uttar Pradesh, the Ganga Expressway is now being developed as an Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Corridor (IMLC). This expressway is not just a medium for fast travel, but is also working to connect the specialties of every district with industry and market. 12 IMLC nodes are being developed by Uttar Pradesh Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), based on different sectors, so that local resources can be better utilized.

Meerut: Emerging city as data center and logistics hub

Ganga Expressway starts from Bijauli village of Meerut, which is connected to Delhi-Meerut Expressway. This provides Meerut with direct and fast connectivity to the national capital. This city is now becoming a big hub of data center, warehousing and sports goods industry. The growth of e-commerce and logistics sectors has led to an increase in employment and investment.

Hapur: Development of religious tourism and agro processing

The expressway in Hapur connects Garhmukteshwar (Brajghat), which will boost religious tourism. Interchanges have been built here to provide convenience to the passengers.
