Addressing the public meeting in Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “I don’t mind how much the people of Congress give me as much abusing me because I am a devotee of Lord Shiva and bear all the poison. But when someone else is insulted, I cannot sit silent. You tell me, what was my decision to honor Bhupen Da with Bharat Ratna or was it right? Addressing the public meeting in Darrang, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that today India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and Assam is also one of the fastest growing states. He informed that the work of the government and the people of Assam is strengthening the state and the world.
