M.Chinnaswamy Stadium CCTV Case: In the match between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2026, something happened which is difficult to believe. There are reports that during the match between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore, the CCTV surveillance system of M Chinnaswamy Stadium was destroyed. During this match, all the 240 CCTV cameras installed in the stadium were switched off. In this case, Bengaluru Police has filed a case against two people. One person’s name is Manjunath who has been arrested from Hiriyur in Karnataka, while a person named Abdul Kalam has been arrested from Uttar Pradesh.
Who destroyed Chinnaswamy’s CCTV?
After all the CCTV cameras of Chinnaswamy were switched off, a person named Aditya Bhatt, who is an employee of a software company in Gurugram, lodged a complaint with the police. He accused the two arrested people of entering the CCTV control room during the match and breaking the network video recorder.
Why were the CCTVs of Chinnaswamy Stadium broken?
Money dispute is being said to be the reason for breaking the CCTV of Chinnaswamy Stadium. There are reports that both the accused worked for IVS Digital Solutions which was a sub-vendor of Stack Technology Private Limited. These people were not getting payment of Rs 10 lakh, so they damaged the CCTV system. Meaning, if any accident had happened during this period, the police administration would not have been able to know anything through CCTV. The fortunate thing is that everything went well at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and the match was completed smoothly. Let us tell you that now RCB has to play its home matches in Raipur. However, playoff matches can be played in Chinnaswamy, Bengaluru.
