CM Vishnu Dev Sai launched the Dental Conference 2025 in Raipur. He reiterated the resolve to make Chhattisgarh a developed state through 5 new medical colleges, super specialty hospitals and Vision 2047.

Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that it is our first priority to protect the health of 3 crore people of the state. We will all fulfill the dream of developed Chhattisgarh together. He said that in the last 20 months, the government has strengthened health services and has provided health services to inaccessible areas.

The Chief Minister arrived to inaugurate the three -day Dental Conference 2025 held at a private hotel in Raipur. Here he saw the exhibition of tooth -cared equipment and released the annual souvenir of the Dental Association.

Expansion of health services in Chhattisgarh

The Chief Minister said that health has been given priority since the first day of formation of the government.

  • 5 new medical colleges were approved.
  • Nursing, physiotherapy and mother-child hospitals are being established.

He told that in the year 2000 there was only one medical college in the state, but today there have been 15 medical colleges. Patients and elderly are getting free treatment from Ayushman Bharat and Pradhan Mantri Vay Vandana Yojana. Apart from this, cheap generic medicines are also giving relief to the public.

Cancer and public awareness needed

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that cases of mouth cancer with pan masala, gutkha and tobacco are continuously increasing. The role of dentists is important in this situation. He called upon the doctors to tell people about the importance of teeth care by running public awareness campaign.

AIIMS Historical Achievement of Raipur

Chief Minister Sai, while sharing his parliamentary term, said that in 1999 he raised the demand for the establishment of AIIMS in Chhattisgarh in Parliament. After the formation of the state, Chhattisgarh received the AIIMS gift on 1 November 2000. He described it as the historical achievement of the state.

Chhattisgarh Vision 2047 and Economic targets

CM Vishnu Dev Sai said that the state government has prepared “Chhattisgarh Vision 2047” as per PM Modi’s resolve to make India a developed nation till 2047.

  • The current GSDP of the state is 5 lakh crores.
  • The target is that by the year 2047 it reached 75 lakh crores.
  • Mineral wealth, forest wealth, farmers and toiling people are the real strength of the state.

He said that the state will definitely achieve its goals by proving the saying “Chhattisgarh the best” saying.

GST improvement and business boost

CM Sai said that recently the GST slab has been uniform in 5% and 18%. This will benefit the agriculture and trade sector and will make business activities and easier. This reflects the vision of the Prime Minister and will make the country financially stronger.

Important role of dentists

The Chief Minister said that “Man’s smile is the most valuable and the contribution of dentists is important in keeping it safe.” He hoped that this three -day conference would discuss the teeth and mouth diseases intensively and open new treatment avenues.

Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal’s statement

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that the Chief Minister is constantly reviewing health services.

  • Quality facilities are being provided to Naxalite affected and inaccessible areas.
  • 20 specialist doctors have been appointed in Bastar.
  • Chintagufa Health Center in Sukma district has received an NQAS certificate.

He informed that with the approval of five new medical colleges, there will now be a total of 15 medical colleges in the state. Super specialty hospitals, 12 new nursing colleges and 5 physiotherapy colleges are being established in Bilaspur. Mobile medical units in special backward tribe areas and bike ambulance service have been started for inaccessible areas.

He claimed that Chhattisgarh has become the country’s largest cashless treatment state today.

A large number of doctors participation in dental conference

In this conference, the Indian Dental Association Chhattisgarh President Dr. Arvind Kumar, former President Dr. Rajiv Singh, Chairman Dr. Vaibhav Tiwari and dentists from all over the country were present.
