Fans said- “There should not be a match, but it is necessary for the game”

Mumbai cricket fan Shubham Chavan said, “There should be no match, but should be from the perspective of a sportsman. India-Pakistan compete is always exciting, lasts till the last over and remains entertaining. The victory will be from India.”

At the same time, Ahmedabad cricket lover Asghar Ali expressed a different opinion. He said, “Such a big incident happened in our country and yet we are playing with Pakistan. According to me we should fully boycott this match.”

Voice raised from Delhi- “Sports and war should be kept separate”

Delhi’s cricket fan Naveen Kashyap said, “This is a match that everyone wants to see. People have a different attachment to the game. Some people see it just like a game. We should never mix war and sports.”

Owaisi raised questions, target BJP

Meanwhile, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi surrounded the central government and BJP over the decision to hold an India-Pakistan match. Owaisi said, “Pakistan-sponsored terrorists killed 26 our citizens in the first-side terror attack and now we are playing cricket with Pakistan. Is it more than the life of 26 citizens, the price of Rs 2000-3000 crore from a match?”

He asked the Prime Minister and BJP leaders, “When you said that blood and water cannot flow together, dialogue and terrorism cannot run together, then why this match?”

Dispute in the backdrop of terror attack

Significantly, on 22 April, 26 tourists were killed in a terrorist attack in Endolt of Jammu and Kashmir. Since then, there is a period of anger and debate over the India-Pakistan match. However, the enthusiasm of watching this Mahamukabale among cricket lovers has not diminished.
