Highest wheat producing countries

According to World Population Review, China is at first place with wheat production of 137 million tonnes, followed by India at second place, Russia at third place, America at fourth place and Australia at fifth place.

Some special conditions are mandatory for better production of wheat. For example, cool temperature (10°C to 15°C) during sowing and increase of temperature from 21°C to 26°C during ripening is better for its yield and quality.

Wheat requires 50-75 cm of rain, but excessive rain also causes harm. Strong sunlight during its ripening increases the yield and quality.
