Class 10 student brutally beaten in Agra school, suffers jaw injury

New Delhi: A Class 10 student was allegedly beaten severely inside a school campus in Sikandra area of Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The assault left him with serious injuries, including multiple broken teeth and a suspected jaw fracture. He is currently unable to speak.

The incident took place within the school premises, raising concerns about student safety and supervision. The school administration has not issued a clear statement so far.

Father alleges negligence by school authorities

The victim’s father said the school called him around 7:30 am on Saturday and told him that his son had suffered a minor injury and should be taken home. When he reached the school, he found his son bleeding from the mouth, with cotton placed inside, and being supported by a staff member.

He alleged that no proper first aid was given and that the child was left in severe pain without immediate medical attention. He also claimed that the school tried to downplay the seriousness of the incident.

Child undergoing treatment, complaint filed

The injured student has been admitted to a hospital and is undergoing treatment, including surgery. His father has filed a complaint at Sikandra police station against the accused student.

Police said the incident appears to have started from a dispute between two students. Officials are reviewing CCTV footage from the school to identify those involved and understand the sequence of events.
