He said that Mamata Banerjee opposed the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) because she fears that if the number of Hindus increases, her politics will be affected. Yogi alleged that TMC is responsible for anarchy and disorder in Bengal.

CM Yogi said that TMC does not believe in democratic values. He alleged that there were attacks on BJP leaders and candidates during the first phase of voting, which shows the hooliganism of TMC. He claimed that after the election results are out, such elements will have no place to hide.

Yogi said that land, sand and cattle mafia are active in Bengal. He alleged that the money coming from the Center does not reach the public, but is grabbed midway. He said that now the public is ready to change this system.

CM Yogi said that the objective of CAA is to give citizenship to the people of persecuted Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Sikh communities from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. He alleged that TMC is opposing this law, while it is in the interest of humanity.
