New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) produced an all-round brilliant effort to hand Mumbai Indians (MI) their biggest loss in the history of Indian Premier League on Thursday. After Sanju Samson starred with a century to help CSK post 207/6 in the first innings, Akeal Hosein led the show with the ball to bundle out MI for just 104.
A 103-run victory and their third in this season takes the Super Kings to the fifth spot on the points table while Mumbai slip to the 8th spot on the standings with their 5th loss. Barring a fine show with the ball in the first innings, Mumbai were no match for the Super Kings who completely dominated the game at the Wankhede Stadium.

Samson rose to the occasion and slammed his second century this edition scripting multiple records with his unbeaten score of 101 off just 54 balls. The Kerala batter joined Rohit Sharma in a elite list of Indian players with most centuries in shortest format with his 8th T20 hundred and his 5th in the cash-rich league.
