Horror comedy film ‘Bhooth Bangla’ directed by Priyadarshan has reached close to earning Rs 100 crore in India. According to the report of Bollywood Hungama, this film had earned Rs 89.45 crore at the domestic box office in the first 6 days, which can increase to around Rs 95 crore on the 7th day.
According to the trade tracking website sacnilk.com, on the 7th day i.e. on the first Thursday after the release, Akshay Kumar and Vamika Gabbi starrer ‘Bhoot Bangla’ earned around Rs 1.70 crore (till 4 pm). ‘Bhoot Bangla’ had earned Rs 137.34 crore gross at the worldwide box office in 6 days. Out of this, the gross in India was Rs 105.86 crore and the overseas gross was Rs 31.84 crore. It is believed that after the final figures of 7th day, this collection can reach close to Rs 150 crore. If this film crosses this earning in India then it will come in the category of successful films. However, to become a hit it will have to earn more than Rs 180 crore. It remains to be seen whether the film can touch this figure or not.
