CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated 98 development works worth Rs 58.46 crore in Narayavali of Sagar. Inaugurated Sandipani Vidyalaya and targeted Congress. Made many important announcements on farmers, women and Bundelkhand development.
Sagar/Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave a big gift to Narayawali area of Sagar district on 23 April. He inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 98 development works at a cost of about Rs 58 crore 46 lakh. During this period Sandipani School was also inaugurated. In the program, the Chief Minister interacted with the children and inspired them for a bright future. The program started with lighting of the lamp and Kanya Puja and the officials present on the stage welcomed him.
Importance of Bundelkhand and inspiration of Shri Krishna-Sudama
CM said that the land of Bundelkhand is known for struggle and bravery. He described the new school as not just a school but a symbol of the friendship between Lord Krishna and Sudama. He said that the activities of Shri Krishna’s life show us the path of religion and struggle. The greatest example of true friendship between the poor and the rich is the friendship of Krishna-Sudama.
Attack on Congress, raised issue of women’s respect
Taking aim at the Congress, the Chief Minister said that the Congress never gave proper respect to women. He said that just as Draupadi was disrobed in the Mahabharata, similar behavior was done by stopping the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Parliament. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi tried to give rights to women, but Congress opposed it.
Emphasis on schemes and reservation for women
CM said that the state government is committed to giving respect and opportunities to women. He told that 30% reservation is being given in the organization in the state and there are women collectors in many districts. She appealed to the women to remember the issue of their honor and take the right decision.
Plan to end water problem in Bundelkhand
The Chief Minister said that the water problem in Bundelkhand will end through the Ken-Betwa river linking project. This will provide adequate water to farmers, industries and common people and migration will also stop.
Government schemes for farmer welfare
CM mentioned many schemes for farmers. He said that farmers will get electricity connection for Rs 5. Wheat is being purchased at Rs 2625 per quintal and there are plans to increase it to Rs 2700 in future. The government will purchase from small farmers first. It has also been decided to give four times compensation to the farmers for their land.
Improvement in education: Sandipani Vidyalaya becomes a new model
The Chief Minister said that modern Sandipani schools in the state are performing better than private schools. Students from government schools have topped the board results of 2025-26. The government is giving scooties to toppers and laptops to meritorious students. This school, built at a cost of Rs 27 crore in Narayawali, was described as the center of future building.
Focus on regional development and infrastructure
CM said that many big projects are going on in Sagar district. More than 500 km of roads have been constructed. A new ward of 100 beds is being built in the district hospital. 6 new industrial areas are being developed and projects related to Bina Refinery are also coming up.
