Asus launches ExpertBook Ultra, expands commercial lineup

New Delhi: Asus has introduced the ExpertBook Ultra which is designed specifically to meet the requirements of business leadership, such as CXOs of large businesses, startup founders and MSME owners. You do not have to worry about juicing up the device constantly, it can be used outdoors and in complex lighting conditions and has military grade durability. The extended battery life is achieved with an efficient CPU, paired with a brand new power delivery architecture (configuration of batteries), and a thermal system that does not constrain the processing power. The display goes up to 1400 nits of HDR brightness and 600 nits of SDR brightness, is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus and Gorilla Matte, which is military-grade anti-glare nano etching that makes the screen appear like paper.

The whole laptop is military-grade, with robustness being the strong point. At the launch we saw it being manhandled in all sorts of ways, it was repeatedly dropped, poured water on, pressurised by gym weights, and slammed shut with objects between the keyboard and screen. The laptop is made up of magnesium-aluminium alloy, an incredibly strong and lightweight material used in aerospace and motorsport applications, with a Nano Ceramic surface that makes it resilient to scratches, while being easy to clean at the same time. The laptop weighs under a kg, and is only available in the 14″ form factor, which makes sense considering the focus on mobility.
