Iran and China
Iran is the largest supplier of crude oil. Oil export has a lot of role in his economy. Now Iran is buying a missile from China instead of money received from its same oil. After a ceasefire with Israel on 24 June, the Chinese surface missile (SAM) batteries have been found in Iran. Iran has again started strengthening its air security in Tehran.
The Clash Report quoted the Middle East I as saying that Iran is buying missiles after a ceasefire from the money received on importing oil from China. Iran is allegedly paying through the money received from the oil shipmate for the missile system, making its business relations with Beijing further strengthened.
China is supporting
China already imports about 90% of Iran’s crude oil exports, often using transmission routes through countries such as Malaysia to ignore US sanctions. Now China is supporting Iran through missiles. However, there is no clear information about how many missiles have been dealt between the two countries. It is believed that Iran operates various Chinese and Russian air defense systems, including HQ-9 and Russia’s S-300. These security are considered limited against advanced Israeli aircraft such as the US-made F-35.
Iran’s defense budget
Both countries suffered heavy losses in the 12 -day war between Iran and Israel. Iran is resorting to China only to fix its defense system destroyed in Israeli’s aircraft. Iran spends a lot on its defense anyway. According to data released by the World of Statistics, Iran’s defense budget is $ 9.95 billion (about Rs 83,000 crore). According to reports, now he is also strengthening the defense sector through oil shipment.
