Ingredients of Stuffed Tomatoes
1 tbsp white sesame seeds, 1/4 peanuts, 1/4 cup sev (Gathiya), 4-5 garlic cloves. 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala, salt as per taste and fresh coriander. Apart from this, the most important thing required would be tomatoes. Apart from this, some oil and cumin seeds will be required for tadka.
How to make stuffed tomatoes?
- First of all, roast the peanuts in a pan on low flame while stirring continuously so that its rawness is completely removed.
- Now add sesame seeds, roasted peanuts, garlic cloves and sev to the grinder jar and grind them. Keep in mind that the mixture has to be kept coarse.
- Take out the ground spices in a bowl and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, and chopped coriander to it.
- Now take medium sized tomatoes, wash them and wipe them. Make cuts in it in such a way that the tomato is divided into four parts, but they remain connected.

- Now fill all the cut tomatoes with the prepared masala properly. If you want, you can also fill the masala after hollowing out the top of the tomato.
- Now you have to pour some oil in the pan. Add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds to it, let it crackle and carefully add the stuffed tomatoes into it.
- You have to cover and cook these tomatoes for at least 4 to 5 minutes. After this, add the remaining stuffing masala into it also.
- In this you have to add half a cup of hot water and then cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Just this stuffed tomato is ready to eat.
