New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar had a major fallout with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani after he walked out of the much-anticipated Don 3. Now, it looks like the actor is set to end the controversial feud for once and all. If reports are to be believed, Ranveer has offered to return his signing amount to Excel Entertainment.

Ranveer Singh vs Farhan Akhtar feud

According to a Free Press Journal report, Ranveer Singh has offered to return his signing amount of Rs 10 crore to Farhan Akhtar’s production house, Excel Entertainment. Additionally, the Dhurandhar actor will also compensate the production house for the pre-production amount spent by them and also offer a stake in his next film, tentatively titled Pralaay. However, the exact amount or percentage is yet to be revealed.

What’s the feud all about?

The feud started when Ranveer Singh walked out of Don 3 after the success of Aditya Dhar’s directorial, Dhurandhar. However, Farhan Akhtar didn’t take his exit positively and approached the Producers Guild of India, according to reports. Later, in a meeting with Guild members, Farhan and Ritesh said that the production house has already spent Rs 40 crore in pre-production of Don 3. They further claimed that the script was approved by the actor in every stage.

On the other hand, Ranveer alleged that Farhan had put the film on the backburner due to the actor’s career slump. The Guild then advised them to solve the issue amicably rather than going the legal way. The rumours swirled around and also stated that Aamir Khan was trying to solve the issue between Ranveer and Farhan. However, he denied the claims.
