New Delhi: A wedding celebration in Katni district of Madhya Pradesh turned violent after baraat got delayed by two hours prompting the angry DJ not to play the music. Consequently, a violent clash broke out as baraatis thrashed the DJ for not playing the music.
The incident happened when the wedding party arrived at least 2-hour late at the wedding venue. This led to the DJ and his team getting angry and they refused to play music in protest. This led to an argument which escalated into a brawl.

The wedding guests then ganged up and thrashed the DJ and his team over the refusal to start the music as the guests arrived. What began as a minor dispute quickly escalated into a brawl, with baraatis assaulting the DJ and his team.
The DJ then immediately called the police, who arrived at the scene to control the situation. However, instead of easing the tensions, the confrontation intensified. Police personnel reportedly began lathicharging wedding guests at the venue. The DJ too allegedly joined in and hit the baraatis with sticks.
The chaos followed the wedding venue and a policeman was also hit in the process. Someone from the wedding guests allegedly hit the cop with a metal object that landed on his head causing an injury.
