Actually, this tragic incident happened in Kirthal village of Ramla police station area of Baghpat district when 72-year-old farmer Ompal Singh was irrigating his field on Tuesday. During this time his feet were placed in a pit filled with water. Then a poisonous snake bit him. The poison quickly spread throughout his body and within minutes he collapsed. Then he became paralyzed. The family members hurriedly took him to the hospital. But doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The elder also gave up his life after hearing the news of the younger one.
