Dr. Priya Paliwal (Chief Dietician, Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute, Delhi) says that both Bel and Sattu are healthy drinks, but their benefits are different. Bael juice is especially beneficial for digestion. It cools the stomach, provides relief from problems caused by constipation, acidity and heat.

Sattu is rich in protein, fiber and iron, which helps in giving energy to the body and keeping the stomach full for a long time. Sattu is especially good for those who want to control weight or do more physical exertion.

Experts say that if compared, Sattu is considered richer in terms of nutrition, whereas Bael is more useful for digestion. In summer both can be consumed, having Sattu in the morning and Bel in the afternoon can be a good balance. Digestive problems become more troublesome in summer. Therefore, to keep it well, you can drink vine juice.
