PM Visit Varanasi Update: Before the possible visit of PM to Varanasi, CM Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting and gave strict instructions regarding security, cleanliness and preparations for the women’s conference. The administration has been asked to remain alert at every level.
Varanasi News: Preparations have gained momentum in Varanasi ahead of the possible visit of the Prime Minister. Strictness is being shown at the government level to completely prepare the city in terms of security, cleanliness and arrangements. In this context, the Chief Minister himself took charge and gave clear instructions to the officers that negligence will not be tolerated at any level.
Preparations taken stock in review meeting
Yogi Adityanath, who was on a two-day visit to Varanasi, held a high-level meeting at the Circuit House and reviewed the preparations. In the meeting, he instructed the administration and police officers that during the possible program of the Prime Minister, the security arrangements should be completely tight and every aspect should be closely monitored.

Special instructions regarding women’s conference
The Chief Minister especially emphasized on the preparations for the women’s conference. He said that there should be better arrangements for the movement of women at the venue. Besides, instructions were given to ensure timely availability of vehicle parking, drinking water and other basic facilities, so that no participant has to face any problem.
Focus on cleanliness and city management
CM Yogi clearly said that the program should not be limited to just the venue, but the level of cleanliness should be seen better in the entire city. He instructed to keep street dogs and stray animals in shelters, as well as proper management of street vendors. Its aim is to reduce clutter in the city and create a better environment for visitors.
General public should not face any problem
The Chief Minister also gave clear instructions regarding route diversion and traffic management. He said that the common people should not face any inconvenience during the program. Along with security, emphasis was laid on giving priority to traffic and crowd control arrangements.
Also keep an eye on stadium and development projects
Major development projects of the city were also reviewed in the meeting. Regarding the International Cricket Stadium being built in Ganjari, the Chief Minister directed that the construction work should be completed on war footing. Officials said that a target has been set to complete it by the first week of July. Apart from this, instructions were also given to speed up and maintain the quality of the ropeway project, Manikarnika Ghat and Dalmandi road widening works.
Strict message before the big event
This meeting was not only a review of the preparations, but also a clear message to the administration that every arrangement should be in place before the big event. CM Yogi made it clear that there should be no lapse on all three fronts – security, convenience and cleanliness.
