Directed by Haruo Sotozaki, Demon Slayer Infinity Castle recorded an impressive Rs 12.6 crore net on day one, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. As per early estimates, the Japanese version registered 39.61% occupancy on Friday, September 12, marking a strong start for an anime release in the country.
Produced by Shueisha, Aniplex, Sony Pictures Networks, Toho Pictures and Crunchyroll, the film continues the story directly from the fourth season of the hit anime series. It reached Indian screens nearly two months after its Japanese premiere, where it has already emerged as the highest-grossing film of 2025 in Japan and the fourth highest-grossing Japanese film worldwide.
