CM Mohan Yadav announced to make ‘Shri Parshuram-Shri Krishna Lok’ in Janapav. To be built at a cost of Rs 17.50 crore, this center will promote religious and cultural tourism, where devotees will be able to take inspiration from the lives of Lord Parashuram and Shri Krishna.
Bhopal/Indore. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made a big announcement on April 19 in the Prakatotsav program organized at Janapav Kuti, the birthplace of Lord Parshuram ji. He said that the state government is developing the sites associated with Lord Krishna and Lord Parashuram to make them world class pilgrimage sites.
‘Shri Parshuram-Shri Krishna Lok’ will be made with Rs 17.50 crores
The CM announced that ‘Shri Parshuram-Shri Krishna Lok’ will be constructed at a cost of more than Rs 17 crore 50 lakh. The aim of this project is to make this place grand and divine, so that it becomes a distinct identity not only in the country but across the world. He said that the devotees coming here will be able to get inspiration from the pastimes of Lord Shri Krishna and the life of Lord Parashuram and earn religious virtues.
Life of Lord Parashurama: An Icon of Faith and Inspiration
In his address, the Chief Minister said that the life of Lord Parshuram is a symbol of faith, reverence, tradition and Sanatan culture. He fought against injustice and unrighteousness in every era. He also told that Lord Parashurama was knowledgeable about both weapons and scriptures. The incident of Lord Ram’s marriage is also related to his bow, which shows his importance.
Mahaguru Parshuram created great warriors
CM Mohan Yadav said that Lord Parshuram is considered as Mahaguru. He taught great warriors like Bhishma Pitamah, Dronacharya and Karna. Guru Dronacharya acquired the knowledge of Divyastra and Brahmastra from him. This shows that his contribution has been very important not only in religion but also in warfare and knowledge.
Lord Krishna got the blessings of Parashuram
The Chief Minister said that Lord Parshuram has a special place in the life of Lord Shri Krishna also. He said that Lord Krishna also got Sudarshan Chakra with the blessings of Lord Parashuram, which he used in difficult situations. Through this he achieved success in big wars and gave dakshina to his guru.
Government’s focus on development works
CM said that the state government is continuously engaged in development work. Roads, bridges, canals, irrigation facilities, hospitals and schools are being constructed rapidly. He said that the schools have been named ‘Sandipani Vidyalaya’, connecting them with the Sanatan culture, so that the students also get cultural education.
Rivers are the arteries of Mother Earth
Referring to the rivers originating in Janapav area – Chambal, Gambhir, Chaural, Ajnar, Karam, Dhamni, Nakheri and Soomra – the Chief Minister said that these rivers are like the arteries of Mother Earth. He urged the administration to plan for revitalization of Gambhir and Ajnar rivers. He also mentioned the ongoing river linking projects by the Central Government, which will provide irrigation, drinking water and electricity facilities to the farmers.
Opposition targeted on women’s rights
Taking aim at the opposition, CM Mohan Yadav said that Congress has worked to stop women’s rights. He said that the government is committed to providing women their rights and this right will definitely be provided in the future.
How will ‘Shri Parshuram-Shri Krishna Lok’ be?
This proposed Lok will be a grand spiritual and cultural centre, in which the lives of Lord Parashurama and Lord Krishna will be presented in a modern manner. A museum will be built in it, which will showcase his life, philosophy and warfare. There will be a total of 5 galleries here-

Apart from this, bronze statues of Lord Parashurama and Lord Krishna will be installed here. A 30 feet high grand entrance will be built. Facilities like Katha Manch, Gazebo, View Point, Landscaping and pathways will also be developed in the complex, making the place a major religious tourism centre.
