Alum will clean water
Put 1 piece of alum in cooler water. This is a great ingredient to clean water naturally. Actually, the dirt present in the water starts blocking the cooler pads i.e. grass. In such a situation, alum will keep the water clean and cool air will also come.
Neem leaves or oil
You can put fresh neem leaves in the cooler. These have antibacterial properties which reduce the chances of mosquitoes and any other kind of insect breeding. If you want, you can also put neem oil in the cooler tank instead of neem leaves. Even this does not prevent mosquito larvae from growing.

Keep these things in mind
- To protect yourself from mosquitoes, you can burn bay leaves in your house in the evening and show smoke and use mosquito nets.
- Once a week or in 10 days, all the water in the cooler should be drained out and cleaned thoroughly.
- When the cooler is not used, drain the water and dry it completely. Keep in mind that there should not be any moisture in it.
- Whenever you are not running the cooler, cover it completely with a cover. Due to this mosquitoes are not able to enter inside it.
