This entire incident happened on the afternoon of May 22, when Lakshmi Priya suddenly texted her mobile phone password to her younger sister Jayashree at around 2:31 pm. Seeing this unexpected message, the family trembled with the fear of something untoward. He immediately tried to contact Lakshmi Priya and dialed the phone continuously, but got only silence from the other end; No reply came. Shortly after this, husband Rajesh Aaradhya called her parents and informed them that Lakshmi Priya is no more in this world.

According to the police complaint lodged, Lakshmi Priya was married to Rajesh Aaradhya, a resident of Mysore, on May 11, 2023. It is alleged that soon after the marriage, husband Rajesh, father-in-law Palaksharadhya and mother-in-law Bhagyamma started harassing her mentally and physically continuously.
