On Sankarshan Vinayaki Chaturthi, the time of worship of Lord Shri Ganesha will be from 11:02 am to 01:38 pm. That means devotees will get full time of 02 hours 36 minutes for worship. On this day, see the moon after 10.20 pm. Eat food only after seeing the moon.

Sankarshana Vinayaki Chaturthi fasting and worship method
– On Monday, April 20, wake up early in the morning and after taking bath, worship Lord Shri Ganesh at an auspicious time.
– Install the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha in a clean place. First of all garland the flowers and light the lamp.
– Also apply tilak on the forehead. After this, offer things like Janeu, Abir, Gulal, Roli, Durva, rice etc. one by one.
– While worshiping, keep chanting the mantra Om Gan Ganpataye Namah in your mind. Offer food to God as per your wish.
– After this, perform the Aarti of Lord Shri Ganesh along with the family. Worship it also when the moon rises.
