BPSC Preliminary Examination is going to be held on 13 September 2025 today. The exam will run from 12 noon to 2 pm. It will be held at 912 centers in 37 districts of the state.

Reaching on time is most important

The BPSC has clearly stated that the candidates will have to reach the examination center two and a half hours before the scheduled time. That is, the entry will start from 9:30 am and the gate will be closed after 11 pm. If you are late for 1 minute, you will not get an entry. So leave the house early and decide the time only keeping in mind the problems like traffic. After the exam starts, you will not be allowed to exit before the exam is over.

It is forbidden to take these things together

This time BPSC has adopted a zero tolerance policy. That is, mobile phones, calculators, Bluetooth devices, smart watch, electronic pen, pages or any kind of electronic gadgets cannot be taken in the examination hall at all. If a candidate is caught with these goods, not only his examination will be canceled, but he will lose the right to sit in any BPSC exam for the next 5 years.

Number will be deducted on wrong answer

This time negative marking has been implemented in the examination. That is, one-third of your points will be deducted on every wrong answer. So avoid ticking in guess. Also be careful while filling the OMR sheet. If you use markers, whitener, blade or eraser, the answer will be considered invalid and action will be taken on that too.

Rumors who spread rumors

The Commission has also made it clear that strict action will be taken against false news or rumors related to the examination. Such a candidate will be excluded from the recruitment process of BPSC for 3 years. Apart from this, if someone is caught adopting a copy or wrong way, then there will also be legal action against him under the ‘Bihar Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair means) Act, 2024’.
