Women Reservation Bill: Politics has intensified in the country regarding the Women Reservation Bill. BJP and NDA leaders have started protests across the country against the non-introduction of the bill. BJP leaders and workers took out an protest march outside Rahul Gandhi’s residence in Delhi, which later turned violent. .
Politics has now intensified regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill. Modi government declared April 17 as a black day due to not presenting the bill. So the opposition parties have called it a victory for democracy. Meanwhile, now BJP and NDA leaders are protesting across the country over the non-passing of the bill. Delhi CM Rekha Gupta and many women MPs of BJP surrounded Rahul Gandhi’s house.
Anger in Bansuri Swaraj and Raksha Khadse
In fact, BJP leaders took out an ‘angry march’ to Rahul Gandhi’s house on Saturday, which later turned into violent clashes. BJP MPs and MLAs along with BJP workers burnt the effigy of Rahul Gandhi in front of his residence. The matter got so bad that the police used water cannon to disperse the crowd. Meanwhile, Union Minister of State Raksha Khadse, BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj and Kamaljit Sehrawat were detained. However it was later abandoned. Women leaders said – Congress is afraid of women, that is why the bill was not allowed to be presented in Parliament. But no one will be able to stop the women of India.
Rahul Gandhi called it a victory of democracy
Whereas Rahul Gandhi said about the bill related to Women’s Reservation Bill, ‘Delimitation was a clear attempt by the BJP to reduce the representation of Tamil Nadu, southern states and the North-East in the Parliament.
