When is Parshuram Jayanti 2026?
According to Astrologer Pt. Sharma, Vaishakh Shukla Tritiya Tithi will start from 10:49 am on Sunday, April 19 and will continue till 07:27 am on Monday, April 20. It is believed that Lord Parshuram was born in the evening. The coincidence of Tritiya Tithi and evening time is falling on 19th April, hence it would be best to celebrate Parashuram Jayanti on this day.

On Sunday, April 19, wake up early in the morning, take bath etc., take water and rice in hand and take a pledge to fast and worship. During auspicious time, install a picture or statue of Lord Parshuram at a clean place in the house. Apply tilak with kumkum on the picture of God and garland it with flowers. Light a lamp of pure ghee. Offer clothes, sacred thread, coconut etc. to Lord Parshuram one by one. Offer bhog and perform aarti. Those fasting should not eat grains. They can eat fruits. Break the fast the next morning i.e. 20th April.
