According to a report by Alinea Analytics, the game has crossed 500,000 pre-sales on Steam more than a month before launch. The report notes this is already the strongest pre-launch performance for any Forza title on the platform.

Forza Horizon 6 pre-launch sales signal strong opening

The early figures point to solid launch potential. Alinea Analytics estimates suggest the title is nearing $30 million in pre-sales revenue on Steam alone. Based on current trends, the game could cross 2 million units within its first 24 hours of release.

This level of demand ahead of launch highlights sustained interest in the franchise, especially on PC where previous entries saw more gradual adoption.

Japan setting and long wait drive demand

Several factors appear to be contributing to the surge. The Japan setting stands out as a key driver, with fans having requested it for years. The longer gap between Horizon 5 and Horizon 6 has also built anticipation.

The title is also the first in the series developed exclusively for the current Xbox console generation, allowing developers to focus on newer hardware capabilities. This shift has likely added to player expectations around performance and scale.
