New Delhi: Bengaluru Bulls continued their red-hot form by defeating Jaipur Pink Panthers 28-23 in the opening clash of the second leg of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 12 at the Swai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on Friday, September 12. This was the third consecutive victory for the Bulls, and with this win, they climbed to fifth spot in the points table.
Before this match, they were sitting in the eighth position, but after thrashing Jaipur in a low-scoring match, the Bulls moved into the top four. The hosts suffered their first defeat at home and slipped to seventh position.
Jaipur’s star raider Nitin Kumar scored eight points but didn’t find enough support from the other players. For Bengaluru, Deepak Sankar scored another high five, and Alireza Mirzaian led the raiding department with eight points in the game.
In the second match of the night, Tamil Thalaivas thrashed Bengal Warriorz 46-36 with a proper team effort at the Swai Mansingh Indoor Stadium in Jaipur on September 12, Friday. With this win, Thalaivas returned to the winning column and moved to the sixth position in the points table, having won two out of four games.
Whereas, Bengal Warriorz slipped to the last position after losing four games on the trot. Their star raider Devank Dalal registered another Super 10, but his effort went in vain as Thalaivas’s skipper Arjun Deshwal scored 17 points in the game.
It was the same old story for Bengal, as Devank was fighting alone and didn’t get any support from his teammates, whereas Thalaivas’ players Narender Kandola and Ronak were supporting their skipper at regular intervals.
