Yogi Adityanath accused the TMC government of mafia rule and corruption in rallies in West Bengal. He promised to form a double engine government of BJP to stop infiltration, security and development.
Yogi Adityanath established direct communication with the public by conducting vigorous election campaign in public meetings held in Birbhum, Asansol, Rampurhat and Bolpur of West Bengal. The special thing was that he won the hearts of the people by speaking in Bengali language and excited the atmosphere by raising slogans. With slogans like “Andhakar Hatega, Suraj Ugega, Kamal Khilega” and “TMC Mukto Bangla” they appealed to vote in support of BJP.
People climbed on roofs and trees to get a glimpse of Yogi
A huge crowd was seen at the public meetings, where people were seen excited to get a glimpse of the Chief Minister by climbing on rooftops, vehicles and trees. CM Yogi targeted the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress government and alleged that mafia rule, corruption and anarchy have increased in the state. Raising the issue of sand, coal and land mafia, he said that the general public is feeling unsafe under the TMC rule.
Promise of double engine government in Bengal
- Promising a ‘double engine’ BJP government, the Chief Minister said that if it comes to power, law and order will be strengthened in the state, infiltration will be stopped and development works will gain momentum. He also said that the strict law and order model implemented in Uttar Pradesh will be implemented in Bengal also.
- Along with this, he accused Congress, Left parties and TMC of obstructing the development of the state and described BJP as the guarantee of security, prosperity and bright future. Referring to the historical and cultural heritage, he reiterated his resolve to make Bengal the “Cultural Capital” again.
