MP Board 10th-12th Result 2026 was released, in which the girl students again performed brilliantly. The 12th result was the best in 16 years. Pratibha Singh Solanki topped in class 10th, while tribal districts also performed well.
Bhopal. April 15 was a very special day for the students of class 10th and 12th of the Board of Secondary Education. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced the exam results of both the classes. This year also the performance of girl students was better than that of boys in both the examinations. The special thing was that the 12th result was the best in the last 16 years.
10th topper Pratibha Singh Solanki: Scored 499 marks out of 500.
In the high school examination, Pratibha Singh Solanki, a student of Saraswati Gyan Mandir, Gunaur, Panna district, secured the first position. He topped the state by scoring 499 marks out of 500. This achievement has become a matter of pride for the entire state.
Khushi Rai and Chandni Vishwakarma secured place in 12th commerce class.
In the Higher Secondary examination, Khushi Rai and Chandni Vishwakarma of Commerce group made it to the merit list. Both the students scored 494 marks out of 500 and performed brilliantly.
Great performance of tribal districts
Tribal districts performed remarkably in this year’s results. The Chief Minister said that the students of these areas have given excellent results with their talent and hard work despite difficult circumstances.
CM Mohan Yadav’s statement: Impact of Education Policy 2020 is visible
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that earlier there was only one examination and if it failed, the entire year of the students was wasted. But now under the new education policy 2020, students are given a second chance, due to which their time is saved and they are able to move ahead.
Example of women empowerment: Dominance of girl students continues
This year also girl students performed better than boys. The Chief Minister called it a big step towards women empowerment. He said that the positive impact of “Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao” campaign is clearly visible.
Better results in rural areas and government schools
School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh said that this time the performance of schools in rural areas and government schools has been much better. Government schools have given better results leaving private schools behind.
10th Exam 2026: Complete Result in Figures
This year the high school examination was held from 13 February to 6 March. A total of 8,97,061 candidates appeared, including 7,87,733 regular and 1,09,328 self-study students.
- Pass percentage of regular students: 69.31%
- Passing percentage of girls: 77.52%
- Overall regular passing percentage: 73.42%
- Government School: 76.80%
- Non-government schools: 68.64%
A total of 378 students appeared in the merit list, out of which 235 are girls and 143 are boys. Anuppur district stood first and Alirajpur stood second.
Instead of supplementary examination, now ‘second chance examination’
From this year, “Second Chance Examination” has been introduced in place of supplementary examination. Students who have failed or want to improve their marks can appear in the examination to be held from 7th May 2026.
12th Exam 2026: Detailed Result Analysis
Higher Secondary examination was held from 10 February to 7 March. A total of 6,89,746 students appeared, including 6,13,634 regular and 76,112 self-study students.
- Pass percentage of regular students: 72.39%
- Passing percentage of girls: 79.41%
- Overall regular passing percentage: 76.01%
- Government School: 80.43%
- Non-government schools: 69.67%
221 students appeared in the merit list, of which 158 are girls and 63 are boys. Jhabua district stood first and Anuppur stood second.
Supplement not declared again, will get second chance
This year also no student has been declared supplementary. About 1,99,599 students have failed, who will now get a chance to appear in the second chance examination.
