The video of a 22-year-old software engineer intern living in Bengaluru has gone viral. In this, this girl named Amy Arora is telling how she manages her entire monthly expenses in the city with just Rs 18,000.
Spending a month in a city like Bengaluru is considered quite expensive. It is said that it is not possible to live there with less money. But, if there is proper planning then anything can happen, and this is what a girl has proved. 22 year old Amy Arora has shared a video on social media, in which she is telling how she spends her month in Bengaluru for just Rs 18,000. Amy is a Software Development Engineer Intern. He has divided his expenses into five parts.
The first and biggest expense is that of living. Amy lives in a Paying Guest (PG), whose rent is Rs 7,200. She says that this saves her a lot of money compared to buying a flat alone. Since they eat in the PG mess itself, their food expenses are also very less. Their food is available for just Rs 3,600 per month.
Amy has to go to office only two days a week. Therefore, their monthly commuting expenses come to around Rs 1,600. Apart from this, she also sets aside Rs 2,000 for online shopping and Rs 2,000 for eating out. She spends around Rs 1,500 for small shopping and other retail expenses.
Many people are commenting on Amy’s post. People say that Amy has proved that if one is careful then one can live with less expenses even in Bengaluru. Generally, people living in Bengaluru report their monthly expenses to be at least Rs 20,000 and mostly above Rs 50,000. Amy’s experience shows that there is another side to the truth.
