IPL 2026, CSK vs KKR: In the 22nd match of IPL 2026, the teams of Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are facing each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. In this match, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and decided to bowl first. But the fans were deeply disappointed. CSK icon and former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni did not come to play in this match also. He is suffering from calf injury, due to which he has not been able to play a single match so far.
Will have to wait for Dhoni’s return
MS Dhoni suffered this injury before the start of the season and is currently going through the rehabilitation process. It was believed that Dhoni would regain match fitness before facing Kolkata Knight Riders, but this has not happened. A few days ago, he also had a batting session in the nets, but is still a bit far from match fitness. Chennai Super Kings now have to play their next match against Hyderabad on 18th April. In such a situation, it has to be seen whether Dhoni is fit till the next match or not.

He played his last match for KKR on 2 April against Hyderabad. But after this he was out of the team due to injury. This season has not been anything special for him so far.
