Abhishek once again disappointed in the match against Rajasthan Royals at Uppal Stadium on Monday. He was out on his very first ball in the match. This was the seventh time in the T20 format this year that Abhishek was out for a duck.
His habit of playing aggressively from the very first ball cost him dearly this time too. He tried to play an unnecessary shot on a short delivery from Jofra Archer and gave a simple catch to Ravi Bishnoi at third man. This is the second time in the last three matches that he has been out without scoring any runs. Earlier also in the 2026 T20 World Cup, he was out on zero thrice.
