Gautam Budh Nagar Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh said, “Today, about 42,000 workers took to the streets at 83 places in Noida with their demands. Due to violent protests at 2 places, action was taken using minimum force. Cases are being registered against them. In the remaining 78 places, workers were dispersed through talks and showing restraint. In some areas, especially those bordering other districts, there were non-government workers. A group came from the districts and tried to make the atmosphere provocative and violent. Some people from this group have been caught by us, the rest have been identified through CCTV and action is being taken against them.
