Big news of the morning of 13 April: The ongoing strike of employees of private companies in Phase-2 area of Noida for the last three days suddenly turned violent on Monday. A large number of employees gathered on the streets in the morning demanding many demands including salary increase. The police used mild force to control the situation, after which the atmosphere became more tense. Angry protesters vandalized police vehicles and set many other vehicles on fire.
